About KVM virtualization:

You may choose KVM virtualization over OpenVZ, if you choose to use 2GHz of CPU. KVM technology allows virtualization that is quicker than others like Xen, VMWare, VirtualBox, etc. Unlike OpenVZ, KVM virtualization allows you to use any unmodified OS, enables you to control the kernel modules you use, re-compile the kernel any time you want, control iptables without limitations and more. A VPS using KVM virtualization acts like a dedicated server, allows you to use a virtual DVD-ROM, which contains an image of your OS, and also enables you to access the console using VNC. This means that you can still gain access to your system even when you can't access it using SSH or RDP and it lets you reinstall your operating system at any time.
